Where would you like your baby to be born in 2013? The Economist Magazine has ranked countries by their quality of life for over 25 years, using factors such as output per head, crime rate, life expectancy, trust in the public institutions, etc. The top 5 countries in 2013 are Switzerland, Australia, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Back in 1988, it was USA, France, W. Germany, Italy and Canada. What a change! USA and Germany are both No. 16, Italy is just barely better than Kuwait at No. 21 while France drops to No. 26. It seems like the fewer happenings in the country, the better. Do you agree?
