Slowing Down with Tea, a Walk or Just a Nap

In fast-paced cities such as Hong Kong, people seem to be always doing something outside, shuttling from one place to another, or just doing shopping or eating.  People like to meet other friends and families outside their homes in restaurants or coffee places.  The energy level is high and the city never sleeps.  Still, one can find some urban oases or beautiful spots to relax or clear your mind a little.  I am sharing a few of my favorites here:

Drinking tea at the lobby of the colonial-style Peninsula Hotel in Kowloon, Hong Kong
Relaxing in the French-inspired Cafe Lavande in a small lane in the residential area in Mid-level, Hong Kong
Hiking at the Lung Fu Shan Country Park near the Western District of Hong Kong, leading up to The Peak

Dozing Off in a quiet nook on Shek Pan Street (literally means “stones-paved street”) in Central, Hong Kong

    1. Thank you for liking my post and thanks for your kind comments. The places I love tend to stay the same though new buildings have sprung up like mushrooms.
