The Future is Always Bright

Tomokazu Matsuyama, a Japanese artist growing up between California and Japan in his painting “The Future is Always Bright” has found a body of pan-Asian superstitions and symbols associated with affluence, prosperity and good fortune, such as the carp or tortoise. Matsuyama-san’s take on life are refreshing, colourful, modern and bicultural.
